i am getting a new betta from Spuddys! I just thought i would tell people, i don't know why.
Any suggestions for names, i was thinking Rock, Rocky, Rocko, Hugo or Hobo.

The bubble nests made by the male are, of course made of bubbles. As you probably know the females lay eggs in the nest.

Male betta

The male Betta, now he's a beauty. Big beautiful fins, big bright colours and a fighting nature. They are the ones that make the bubble nests, but when the female doesn't want it, well poor little guy, all
that hard work for nothing. :(

Betta females

Female Betta fish are not as beautiful as males ( not to be mean ). They don't have big fins, just normal boring fins. The are usually a red, blue, or a sea-green colour. Female betta fish have small fins and not much flare. They lay their eggs in the bubble nest that the male betta fish made for them.

6.Bettas usually lay on plant to rest ( unless, that is you have the kind of tank called the Ula-Loop like me, were my betta fish sleeps at the top).
